New "LOCAL TRAVEL" RATES available to B&B guests:

Local travel - simple, affordable, no long car rides (you can even walk or ride your bike!), and the chance to be surprised by what you discover in your own familiar surroundings. We want to encourage local travel, to build community & to save fossil fuels!

This "local" travel rate is for those living in the Waterloo Region, or within a 50 km (25 mile) radius. Consider a holiday in your own region! See "Rooms & Rates" page for details.

Little City Farm Bed & Breakfast

Little City Farm Bed & Breakfast is a cozy 100-year old house situated on a unique evolving site in downtown Kitchener, Ontario. We provide comfortable, simple, eco-friendly lodging in a peaceful “urban farm” setting that leaves guests relaxed and renewed.

Outstanding gourmet vegetarian/vegan breakfasts feature a healthful seasonal, local, organic menu, freshly baked breads & granolas, as well as fair trade coffee and herbal teas. Whenever possible, we try to incorporate offerings from our gardens. We use only biodegradable and environmentally friendly products for our cleaning supplies, laundry detergents, soaps and shampoos; bedding and towels are made from natural materials. Since 2009 our B&B is run on 100% green electricity through Bullfrog Power.

We are close to bus routes, and conveniently located within walking distance of both uptown Waterloo and downtown Kitchener, while still maintaining a feeling of peacefulness and seclusion. Little City Farm Bed & Breakfast demonstrates that small can be beautiful and plentiful. Come experience for yourself what a sustainable urban environment can look like.
