Our goal is to create quality handmade soaps & botanicals using organic, natural ingredients and that have low impact on the earth. These goals are reflected in the carefully selected organic ingredients used, as well as the earth-friendly reusable or compostable packaging of our items.
Karin is trained as a chartered & traditional herbalist, and uses her passion for herbal healing to create nourishing effective soaps and botanicals.
All our herbals are handmade in small batches to ensure the highest quality. We use locally harvested, organically grown or ethically wildcrafted herbs, pure beeswax, pure organic non-GMO oils and pure essential oils. The products are carefully and mindfully prepared with your best health in mind.
We grow many of the herbs for our soaps & botanicals on our own property. We use non-GMO certified organic seeds; we grow without using synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides; we use ecologically sound practices, including maintaining fertile soil, and using natural pest control methods. Other herbs are ethically wild-crafted or sourced from local organic growers & organic suppliers. We support Canadian Organic Growers and are members of Seeds of Diversity, and actively promote & sustainable agricultural practices.
We offer ongoing hands-on classes about organic cold-process soapmaking, herbal gardening, and herbal home remedy making (e.g. salves, tinctures, lip balms, flower essences, winter remedies, herbal first aid, and more). These workshops are held Saturdays throughout the year. Please check our Workshop Page to see what our upcoming offerings are.
We offer both the popular Post-Partum Healing Bath and the Calendula Healing Salve through our Etsy shop . Please contact Karin for details about bulk pricing at: email@example.com for more details.
